East Pikeland is currently seeking candidates for a Park Steward Intern.

This position is a full time, summer intern who will assist in the maintenance of all public park and trail facilities in East Pikeland Township.

The candidate must be 18 years or older and be able to operate a motor vehicle with a valid PA drivers license.

The internship will run from June 1-August 31 (approximately), Monday-Friday from 7am-3pm.

This internship comes with the opportunity to learn about topics like native and invasive plants, land management, building and maintaining recreation infrastructure, stormwater management techniques, pest management, and much more. 

This would be an ideal position for someone majoring in Biology, Horticulture, Environmental Science/Studies, or Park and Recreation Management; or someone who has an interest in working in those fields.
