Clean Energy Transition Plan now available:

Part I - Municipal Plan

Part II - Community Plan

At the July 2019 Board of Supervisors Meeting a Resolution was approved that sets a goal to move the Township toward 100% clean and renewable energy, and to complete this transition for electricity by 2035 and for heat and transportation by 2050. The Resolution was created to align with the Ready for 100 initiative, a national program run by the Sierra Club. Drafted by the Environmental Advisory Council (EAC), East Pikeland’s Resolution is one of many in this area including Phoenixville, Charlestown, Schuylkill, and West Chester.
