Michelle Rubin joined the East Pikeland staff in July 2017 as the Community Resources Coordinator, a newly created position responsible for the Township’s Open Space, Park & Recreation and Environmental programs. 

Having grown up on a pig farm in Iowa, Michelle comes to East Pikeland with a Master’s degree in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Environmental Education from Antioch University New England in New Hampshire.  

Michelle brings her passion for sustainability, health, and outdoor recreation to the Township. Her goals are to increase community involvement, build on existing community events and activities, and expand parks and green space in East Pikeland.

In her free time Michelle loves to read, garden, watch TV and movies, hike, and spend time with her husband, Zach, baby River, and their three cats.
