Park & Recreation Board
Meets the 3rd Thursday of each month @ 7pm The Park & Rec Board helps plan and implement recreation projects, for both parks and trails; they make recommendations to the Board of Supervisors on park development; and they assist with two main community events each year: the Easter Egg Hunt and Family Movie Night. Trail Plan Final Draft - January 2013 Township Planner Ed Theurkauf, working with the Park & Recreation Board, has drafted a township-wide plan to identify locations of future trails. The plan is to create a comprehensive and integrated system of trails for walking, biking, and horseback riding throughout the Township, with links to the regional trail system. The draft concept plan is available for public viewing at the township building or by clicking HERE. |
