East Pikeland Township Yard Waste
For Township Residents ONLY
- As of January 1st 2025, the Township Yard Waste Recycling Facility is accepting wood chips.
Hours of Operation (Location A & B):
Monday through Friday – 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Saturdays – 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. (April through November)

Leaves & Grass Clippings ONLY

Branches, Brush, Tree Trimmings, Ornamental Grass, Garden Waste and Weeds.
Branches should NOT be over 6 inches in diameter.
NO Logs, bamboo, lumber, paneling, pallets, or pressure treated wood.
Scrap Metal, Motor Oil, and Automobile Batteries are also accepted.
Tires and Propane Tanks are NOT ACCEPTED
Note: Alkaline Batteries can be disposed of in normal trash.
NOTICE: THERE IS A NO BURNING ORDINANCE IN EAST PIKELAND, except for Recreational Fires (in fire rings).
MULCH PICKUP/DELIVERY
Township Residents ONLY
$45/load (approx. 4 yards) for mulch delivery
Delivery Times: Monday - Friday, 7am - 9am
Call 610-933-1770 to schedule a delivery.
A $5.00 fee (cash only) charged for loading of mulch into residential and commercial vehicles by the Public Works Crew.
Residents may load their own vehicles themselves at no charge.
COMMERCIAL DROP-OFF FEES - CASH or CHECKONLY:
There is a fee for Commercial drop off of yard waste- $60 per truck or trailer load
Landscaping/yard work contractors must provide proof that the materials they are dropping off are coming from a property within East Pikeland Township.
- Commercial/Landscaper drop-off must be from properties located within East Pikeland Township. Verification from property owner required.
- ID showing proof of residency is required.
- Township reserves right to reject any or all loads for any reason.
- All incoming yard debris must be grindable. We will not accept dirt, stone, bricks etc.
- All fees subject to change.
There is no fee for a resident to drop off their own yard waste themselves. Proof of residency will be required
The Yard Waste Authorization Form is REQUIRED when a resident contracts with someone else to bring in Yard Waste to the Township's Recycling Center.
